Hi,
I'm Mike Schreiber. I just moved to Montclair a few weeks ago. I'd always heard that this place was teeming with journalists, producers and assorted media types - and it's definitely true. We're everywhere. (I'm an editor at Mainstreet.com, which is TheStreet.com's personal finance hub, and write/produce for TV too) So i figured it would be nice for us to have a little community where we can post ideas, stay in touch, dish and - should the need arise - network for jobs. If you're so inclined, create a profile and check out the site. It's very much a work in progress so all of your comments, complaints, concerns, etc, are welcome. Also, if anyone (preferably someone who has experience with Ning or a similar CMS) would like to help me administer the site, please drop me a line. My email is efproductions@yahoo.com.
